Multiplicity: Many Hands Make Lite Work

I’m not sure what to call this type of photographic editing, but I’m going to call it ‘Multiplicity’.  So far I’ve done about three of these composites and I really enjoy it. There definitely has to be a pre-conceptualization of the final piece before starting. Right before I took the multiplicity photo below, I was actually on my way to go take a few photos in a hay field; but when I saw the stack of 134 hay bails that I had piled up the day beforehand; I thought to myself what a help it would have been to have some people assisting me – then it struck me…. This would make a good photo!

This is an eight photo composite. One photo per person plus a background photo. The tough part about editing this photo was the tarp that kept blowing in the wind. I really had to look closely when editing to make sure I blended the photos together smoothly. If you have an idea for a multiplicity photoshoot, please contact me so we can work together.
